One click. The whole page.

ScreenScroll scrolls any webpage, captures every section, and stitches it into one image. Then you crop it, mark it up, blur what nobody should see, and save it as a picture or a proper multi-page PDF.

Free to capture, forever. Nothing you capture ever leaves your computer.

Built because the last one disappeared

In August 2026 the extension everyone used vanished from the Chrome Web Store overnight, mid-workday, with a warning that made it look dangerous. ScreenScroll is the answer to that: a full-page capture tool that does the job properly and does not phone home.

Captures what is actually there

It scrolls the page first so lazy-loaded images have time to appear, hides sticky headers and cookie banners so they are not stamped over every section, and measures the real screen scale so nothing lands crooked.

A real editor, not a preview

Crop, boxes, ovals, lines, arrows, text and 50 stickers. Blur anything private. Undo and redo. Add padding, a border, and the page address with a timestamp.

PDFs that respect paper

US letter, legal or A4, portrait or landscape, or one long continuous page. Page breaks are nudged into blank space so a line of text is never sliced in half.

It sends nothing, anywhere

Most screenshot extensions upload your captures to somebody's cloud. ScreenScroll does all of its work inside your browser. There is no account, no upload, no analytics and no tracking. The only request it ever makes is checking a licence key, and that request contains the key and a random install id. Nothing else.

Questions

Does it work if I am offline?

Yes. Capturing and editing never need a connection. A licence checked once stays valid, so a dropped connection can never lock you out of something you paid for.

What happens to the pages I capture?

They stay on your computer, in your browser's own storage, until you delete them. They are never uploaded.

Can I use my key on my laptop as well?

Yes, on up to five browsers. You can remove it from one and add it to another whenever you like.

Why does it ask to read data on every site?

A screenshot tool has to be able to see whatever page you point it at. It only ever looks at the tab you are capturing, at the moment you ask it to.

I lost my key.

Email support with the address you paid with and it will be resent.
