In August 2026 the extension everyone used vanished from the Chrome Web Store overnight, mid-workday, with a warning that made it look dangerous. ScreenScroll is the answer to that: a full-page capture tool that does the job properly and does not phone home.
It scrolls the page first so lazy-loaded images have time to appear, hides sticky headers and cookie banners so they are not stamped over every section, and measures the real screen scale so nothing lands crooked.
Crop, boxes, ovals, lines, arrows, text and 50 stickers. Blur anything private. Undo and redo. Add padding, a border, and the page address with a timestamp.

The monthly ones are charging for cloud storage, screen recording and team sharing. ScreenScroll does not do those, on purpose, which is why it is a single payment.
